Position Overview 

Join our GNSS team for a hands-on student opportunity where you’ll work at the intersection of field data collection and engineering analysis. As a Geomatics Intern, you’ll contribute to real-world testing of GNSS receivers and antennas—supporting field measurement campaigns, analyzing performance data, and contributing to technical insights that inform product development. 

 

This full-time position starts in September and offers flexible term lengths of 4, 8, or 12 months. It is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of outdoor fieldwork and analytical problem-solving. 
 
 

Responsibilities 

  • Support field measurement campaigns using GNSS receivers and antenna systems 

  • Collect, organize, and maintain accurate survey and test data 

  • Assist with data processing, analysis, and performance evaluation of GNSS equipment 

  • Contribute to technical reports, summaries, and documentation 

  • Help coordinate and prepare for field testing activities 

  • Support basic software testing and debugging related to data collection tools 

  • Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies or issues 
     
     

Qualifications 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Geomatics Engineering or a related field 

  • Strong interest in GNSS, positioning systems, or geospatial technologies 

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Comfortable working with data, calculations, and technical concepts 

  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, or similar is an asset 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
     

Additional Assets (Nice to Have) 

  • Experience with GNSS equipment, surveying, or field data collection 

  • Exposure to software testing or debugging 

 

Compensation 
 

$27.74 - $30.74/hour
