Solutions Architect

Position Overview

We are looking for a Solutions Architect who will use their expertise in computer systems and technology solutions to help solve complex business challenges. In this role, you will work closely with IT professionals, customers, and internal stakeholders to develop and integrate custom solutions, identify areas for improvement within existing systems, and evaluate the impact of new or enhanced technologies on business operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with Account Executives to develop customer relationships and high-level solutions that support the sales process

• Define and design technology solutions that help customers achieve their business objectives

• Create and deliver customer-facing presentations

• Ensure customer goals and project objectives are achieved within budget and on schedule

• Collaborate closely with Account Executives, manufacturer partners, and customers to ensure a seamless transition from design to implementation and support

• Provide detailed solution design documentation, including configuration diagrams and installation procedures

• Produce accurate Bills of Materials and Statements of Work

• Perform other duties as required within the context of the role

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience

• 6+ years of Datacenter Architecture experience

• Knowledge and experience designing and implementing solutions related to: • Certifications • Cybersecurity • Cloud technologies • Virtualization • Compute • Private Datacenters • Networking • Storage • Replication • Malware Prevention • Authentication • Routing and Switching Solutions • Network Access Control • Load Balancing/Application Delivery Controllers

• Proven pre-sales solutions design expertise

• Experience in systems analysis and design with a strong understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies

• Strong technical expertise combined with sales acumen

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical audiences

• Ability to collaborate as part of a team and deliver exceptional customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment

• Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

Additional Requirements

• Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

• Experience working in a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) environment preferred

Compensation

$110,000-$160,000 base salary plus a commission plan
