Position Overview
We are looking for a Junior AI Integration Specialist to join our team in an entry-level, hands-on role focused on building, testing, and deploying AI-powered tools and automation solutions that improve how work gets done across the organization.
Working closely with experienced team members, you will help design and deliver practical solutions that reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and solve real business problems. This role combines technical development with learning and enablement, giving you the opportunity to both build solutions and help others adopt them.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is curious, motivated, and excited about applying AI in real-world business environments.
Responsibilities
• Support the design and development of internal tools, scripts, and automation solutions using languages such as Python
• Assist in integrating AI tools and APIs into business workflows
• Help build and test automation pipelines for tasks such as reporting, data processing, and document generation
• Contribute to maintaining and improving internal tools and reusable solutions
• Work with team members and business partners to understand workflow challenges and identify opportunities for automation
• Assist in developing solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual work
• Learn to translate business needs into simple, practical technical solutions
• Conduct research using AI tools to support projects, analysis, and decision-making
• Stay current with emerging AI tools and technologies and explore how they can be applied within the organization
• Participate in experimentation and prototyping of new ideas
• Provide support to colleagues using AI tools and solutions
• Help create simple guides, documentation, or training materials
• Contribute to building awareness and confidence in using AI tools across teams
• Perform other duties as required within the context of the role
Qualifications
• Recently completed or near completion of a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Internship, academic project, or personal project experience in programming, automation, or AI is considered an asset
• Foundational programming skills, with preference for Python
• Basic familiarity with AI tools or APIs such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar technologies
• Understanding of scripting, automation, or data processing concepts
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
• Problem-solving mindset with an interest in building practical solutions
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly, even while still learning
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across different teams
• Exposure to automation tools, low-code platforms, or workflows is considered an asset
• Familiarity with version control such as Git is considered an asset
• Experience with personal or academic projects involving AI, bots, or automation is considered an asset
• Interest in hardware or embedded systems such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi is considered an asset

Compensation
$60,000 to $70,000
