Electronics Engineering Technician Student

Summer 2026 Co-op | Full-time | On-site in Ottawa   

Position Overview 

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Electronics Engineering Technician Student will assist the Production team with operational and technical support as required. 

Responsibilities 

• Perform RF testing on GNSS products 

• Debug products using schematics and technical documentation 

• Trim and tune ceramic RF elements to meet performance specifications 

• Support ongoing maintenance and repair (M&R) of production equipment 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area in accordance with 5S standards 

Qualifications 

• Excellent hand soldering/rework skills 

• Some familiarity with RF circuitry and Vector Network Analyzers 

• Must be able to read and follow schematics and work instructions 

• Self-sufficient, practical with a "get things done" attitude 

• Solid organizational and documentation skills. 

• Good communication skills, both written and spoken. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills, works well in a team environment capable of supportive interaction with production 
  
  

Compensation 
 

$23.87-$25.87/hour
