Position Overview
Join our GNSS team for a hands-on summer internship where you’ll work at the intersection of field data collection and engineering analysis. As a Geomatics Intern, you’ll support real-world testing of GNSS receivers and antennas—participating in field measurement campaigns, analyzing performance data, and contributing to technical reporting.
This is a 4-month summer student role starting in May, ideal for someone who enjoys both outdoor fieldwork and analytical problem-solving.
Responsibilities

Support field measurement campaigns using GNSS receivers and antenna systems

Collect, organize, and maintain accurate survey and test data

Assist with data processing, analysis, and performance evaluation of GNSS equipment

Contribute to technical reports, summaries, and documentation

Help coordinate and prepare for field testing activities

Support basic software testing and debugging related to data collection tools

Monitor data quality and flag inconsistencies or issues
Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field

Strong interest in GNSS, positioning systems, or geospatial technologies

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working with data, calculations, and technical concepts

Experience with engineering or geospatial software is an asset

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additional Requirements

Experience with GNSS equipment, surveying, or field data collection

Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, Python, or similar)

Exposure to software testing or debugging
Compensation
$20.00 - $28.74/hour
