Position Overview
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the efficient handling, documentation, and coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, with a strong focus on international courier shipping. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliant export documentation, and supporting warehouse and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safe work practices

Accurately pack products according to specifications and ensure proper labeling for international shipping

Prepare and verify commercial invoices, customs documentation, B/L, AWB, and shipment records

Book and coordinate international courier shipments using FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.

Communicate with customers and carriers, providing a high level of service

Load and unload shipments and handle warehouse equipment

Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance

Update shipment and receiving data in SAP

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Assist with receiving, inventory updates, and inter-warehouse transfers

Other duties as required
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
3–5 years of hands-on experience coordinating international shipments using FedEx, DHL, UPS, or similar courier services

Experience using an ERP system (SAP preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional business use
- Must be eligible to obtain Controlled Goods Program (CGP) authorization
Additional Assets

Experience with SAP

Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement practices

Willingness to obtain Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification

Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

Ability to follow documented procedures and adapt to changing priorities

Forklift experience
