As a key player in our HR team, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting top talent to interviewing and hiring the best candidates for Calian Group. Responsibilities
- Partner with HRBPs and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create effective recruitment plans.
- Develop professional job descriptions and postings for internal and external platforms.
- Conduct discovery calls with hiring managers and advise on recruitment policies and initiatives.
- Post and manage job advertisements on various online sites and job boards.
- Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and initial interviews to recommend candidates.
- Represent Calian at career events and develop a strong talent pipeline.
- Coordinate management interviews and maintain a candidate pipeline for difficult-to-fill roles.
- Collaborate with marketing and recruiting teams to enhance our employer brand.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through effective communication and process management.
- Utilize ATS and sourcing tools for diverse, qualified candidates.
- Conduct reference and background checks.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide status updates.
- Negotiate with candidates and make offer recommendations.
- Stay updated on recruiting industry trends and best practices.
- Continuously improve personal and group performance.
- Participate in recruitment process improvement projects and develop onboarding practices.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related fields.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in recruitment.
- HR Knowledge: A solid understanding of recruitment best practices and talent management strategies.
- Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, experience in managing campus recruitment campaigns, and proficiency in social media and networking.
- Bilingualism (English and French): An asset, but not required.
