Position Overview:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist focusing on early talent at Calian, you will play a key role in advancing our mission to help the world communicate, innovate, learn, and lead safe and healthy lives. By attracting and recruiting talent and emerging talent from colleges and universities, you will help ensure we have the right people to drive the innovative solutions that Calian delivers. Your work will directly contribute to building diverse, high-performing teams that are essential to our success and our mission.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Parter with hiring managers and business partners to create tailored campus recruitment plans aimed at attracting top talent from various universities and colleges.
  • Foster strong relationships with university career centers, faculty, and student organizations to promote Calian as an employer of choice.
  • Represent Calian at career fairs, networking events, and on-campus activities to raise awareness about the company and opportunities available.
  • Plan and execute on-campus recruitment events such as job fairs, information sessions, and networking activities to engage with potential candidates.
  • Develop and manage internship and co-op programs, ensuring they align with organizational needs and offer valuable experiences for students.
  • Identify high-potential candidates through targeted outreach, social media, and campus networking channels.
  • Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess potential candidate qualifications to identify top talent for internship, co-op and full-time opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional communication and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience that reflects well on Calian.
  • Monitor recruitment progress and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on key metrics, including candidate pipelines and event effectiveness.
  • Stay current with trends in campus recruitment and suggest innovative ideas to continually improve the program and attract diverse talent.

 

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related fields.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on campus or early talent recruitment as well as high volume recruitment
  • HR Knowledge: A solid understanding of recruitment best practices and talent management strategies.
  • Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, experience in managing campus recruitment campaigns, and proficiency in social media and networking.
  • Bilingualism: An asset, but not required.
